1. Can they supply datasheets for each item, with the test method and result?
2. Do the products meet RoHS and REACH where you need them to?
3. Can they say where each item is made?
4. Can they trace a batch if you have a problem?
5. Will they send samples before you commit?

Range and fit

1. Do they cover most of your list, so you can use one supplier?
2. Can they help you find an equal when a part is not available?
3. Do they understand the standard you follow?

Service

1. What is the lead time, and how is it confirmed on the quote?
2. Can they hold stock for you, for example with vendor managed inventory?
3. How do they handle a complaint or a return?
4. Who will answer your technical questions?
