- Match the wiper to the cleanroom class. Sealed edges shed fewer fibres than cut edges.
- Polyester suits general cleanroom wiping. Microfibre picks up fine residue. Nonwoven suits heavier wiping at lower cost.
- Use pre-saturated wipers where you want a repeatable amount of cleaning fluid on the surface.
- Check that the wiper is compatible with the solvent you use.
Common questions
What does lint free mean for a wiper?
It means the wiper is made and finished to release very few fibres and particles. No wiper releases none, so the aim is a level that suits your cleanroom class.
Dry or pre-saturated wipers?
Dry wipers give you control over which fluid you use. Pre-saturated wipers save time and give a consistent amount of fluid on the surface.
