Cleanroom Wipers
Sucatec supplies cleanroom wipers, low-lint wipes, polyester wipes, nonwoven wipes, microfibre wipes, sterile wipes, ESD wipes and pre-saturated wipes for semiconductor, electronics, medical device, biopharma and controlled manufacturing environments.
Critical Cleaning and Contamination Control
Cleanroom wipers are used to remove particles, residues, liquids and process contaminants from surfaces, tools, equipment, gloves, benches and production areas. The correct wiper depends on cleanroom class, material, edge finish, absorbency, solvent compatibility, sterility and particle control requirements.

Pre-Saturated Wipes
Pre-saturated cleanroom wipes for controlled solvent wiping, surface preparation and contamination-sensitive cleaning routines.
View listed Sucatec SKUsSucatec supports a broad range of cleanroom wiping requirements, from general controlled-area cleaning to critical surface cleaning in high-control environments. Wipers can be selected by material, construction, edge finish, cleanliness level, packaging format and whether they are supplied dry, pre-saturated, sterile or non-sterile.
| Wiper Type | Material / Construction | Typical Use | Selection Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Knitted polyester wipers | Continuous-filament polyester, knitted construction, cut or sealed edge | Critical surface cleaning, glove wiping, equipment cleaning and low-lint applications | Commonly selected where particle and fibre control are important |
| Sealed-edge polyester wipes | Polyester with sealed, laser-sealed or ultrasonic-sealed edges | Higher-control cleanroom wiping where edge fibre release must be reduced | Suitable for more critical cleanroom and controlled manufacturing areas |
| Cellulose polyester wipes | Nonwoven blend, commonly selected for absorbency and strength | Spill control, liquid wiping, general cleanroom cleaning and support areas | Good balance of absorbency, strength and economical use |
| Polypropylene wipers | Nonwoven polypropylene material | Solvent wiping, general cleanroom support and lower-risk controlled cleaning | Useful where chemical compatibility and controlled wiping are required |
| Microfibre wipers | Fine synthetic fibre construction for enhanced pickup | Fine particle removal, sensitive surface cleaning and residue reduction | Selected for high surface contact and strong cleaning performance |
| Sterile cleanroom wipes | Sterile polyester, nonwoven or blended material options | Aseptic processing, medical device, pharmaceutical and sterile cleanroom cleaning | Used where sterility documentation and controlled packaging are required |
| Pre-saturated wipes | Cleanroom wipers pre-wetted with IPA or approved cleaning solution | Repeatable surface cleaning, disinfection support and controlled wiping routines | Helps improve consistency and reduce uncontrolled liquid handling |
Critical environments typically require wipers with low particles, low fibre release, low ion levels and low non-volatile residue.
Sealed-edge wipers are often selected for more critical areas, while cut-edge wipers may be suitable for less critical cleaning.
Cellulose polyester and selected nonwoven wipes are commonly used where absorbency and liquid handling are key requirements.
Wiper material should be compatible with the cleaning agent, surface, process area and residue control requirement.
Cleanroom wipers should be selected as part of a contamination control programme. Cleanroom environments may align with ISO 14644-1, while electronics and ESD-sensitive areas may also require alignment with IEC 61340-5-1.
Where required, Sucatec can support product data, Certificates of Conformity, batch information, sterility documentation, RoHS and REACH declarations and supplier qualification information. See our Quality Policy, Compliance Policy and RoHS and REACH Policy.
